Have you ever been approached first by a celebrity?!

Question: Instead of having to go to them?

Answers: Instead of having to go to them?

For celebrities, it is so difficult to meet just regular people. They often end up just meeting those in their circle because that's what they are exposed to, almost 24/7. Other than that it is some social gathering where they know who you are and so you are never too sure about their intentions. Unfortunately that is the world in which they live in. The key is to meet people whom you are interested in and they in you, without knowing who you are. In fact it is the safest way to meet people. There are no ulterior motives and no hidden agendas. The people you meet that way are interested in you as a person rather than your looks, your status, your money nor anything else superficial. Just person to person without regard to status.
If I was a celebrity that's how I would meet people. The bottom line is that they are just people first, nothing more nothing less. The celebrity status is a result of their work, it is a JOB.
So to answer your question NO I have not been approached by any celebrities I know. However, I was approached by Ms. Bernadette Peters in a restaurant in Long Island. She was posing as a waitress. I had a business associate who was from Japan who couldn't speak good English and was trying to ask her out through me (I was translating). It was a hilarious situation because she denied being herself. She insisted she was just a waitress.
I guess you are asking because you had that experience?

Thanks for your question.

no unless they ask for diresctions.

no but I wish

Yes.

Was served by Jennifer Anniston, when she waited tables at a hamburger place uptown Manhattan, does that count?

George Clooney shook my hand just last year, while filming Michael Clayton here in TriBeCa... and introduced himself... as I walked right into the scene (being shot) and he was playfully trying to embarass me as I walked out of my company's front door.. to get a coffee.. one morning. It was funny.

Happened more frequently than you'd imagine.. and mostly all memorable stories... one of my favorites was a fantastic looking woman... who I'd recognized as someone...but really didn't KNOW who she was... walking off a flight at JFK one night... where I was by myself, standing in an area before the passengers descended to the Luggage area... and she smiled big and said hello (in that cute accent). She was wearing jeans & a jean jacket and could have been anyone, really. Her hair was pulled back, in a sort of 1950's teenie bopper ponytail.. and we talked for at least 10 minutes... when I'd told her I was awaiting my then fiancee (who clearly wasn't in First Class and as easily out the door!)... She didn't miss a beat, but the talk was clearly over... and while I still offered her a lift to Manhattan (she playfully refused)... she walked away, just as my fiancee appeared.. 200-300 feet from the revolving door... and I'd asked my fiancee "who is that person, there"... and said we'd been talking, before... and my fiancee said: "too bad you were waiting for me.. that's Heidi Klum idiot... she's a supermodel and a Sports Illustrated bikini model"...

Doh!

I never even met a celebrity.

Yes. Marlo Thomas once asked me to pour her a Diet Sprite. True story.

Yes Actually
I was at an Aly and Aj concert and afterwards they were signing CD's and Stuff and Aly just walked up to me and hugged me and said "Thank you so much for coming out tonight!"
I was just watching her walk towards me and I was in shock!!! OMG!!

Yeah..Joe Jonas gave me a big kiss, then Nick gave me a hug and kiss and Kevin gave me a hug....but then I woke up :{

No, but I met Morgan Freeman at JFK an he was on my flight. Pretty cool

No but i would love to meet Al Pacino

yea Johnny Depp asked me to the prom but I said no cause he is too ugly for me.

Yes. I was visiting California and my cousin was showing me around Hollywood Blvd. and Rodeo Drive, when George Clooney stopped me to say hello. He thought I had an interesting look.

HA! in my dreams sure.

Always wished Tom Selleck would approach me but sadly in my dreams...

I've never really walked up to a celebrity first, but the late Christopher Reeves and his late wife Dana( they were going together then ) were performing at the Williamstown Summer Theater in Massachusetts. Following the play, Chris and Dana sang and played guitar at a cabaret that I attended. Christopher and I slammed into each other as we were both going through a door. We just smiled and both apologized.

That was a special night because it was the night they got engaged and they were so happy as they announced it to everyone at the get-together. It's sad how their lives ended, but they both were quite courageous in their struggles..
