Question: does any1 else feel so weird after finding out about his death? i mean even though i know he's gone, i still think he's alive and that he's at home right now. lol he was my favorite actor and i just miss him sooo much! i even cried a little. anyone else felt this way?

that was how my daughter was when River Phoenix passed away.
the reason you feel that way is because after seeing a person in movies and on television, they seem familiar enough that you feel you know them. thus, when they die, you feel a part of your life died with them, because you enjoyed being a "part" of their life, even if it was only "make believe".

We are never guaranteed tomorrow. It's sad because he is so young. But death is a natural part of life and we will all be gone and missed one day.

My heart goes out to his family. He was a son and a brother and a dad to a beautiful little girl. I know what's it is like to go through something so tragic and I just hope the media respects this family in their time of grief, it's so very sad.
It's bad...but worse things can happen,just be glad it's not someone close to you.
Yes! I feel the SAME way too!!! I think b/c of what happened to him, we realize how special he really is as a person and we are steal in denial after his death. =P
The first time i saw Heath ledger in a movie was, "A knight's tale"..I thought he was very cute and a good actor..Even though he was not in the spot light that much..i still thought his death touched me alot...it is obvious that he is a guy who doesnt like to be in the spotlight and the only pics u see of him is with him and his daughter(which shows how good of a father he was). I couldnt stop finding out new updates about his death online. For some reason his death kinda affect me. I guess that's b/c he is someone special, and the truth is there will not be another Heath Ledger again.=-(

i didn't believe it at first cuz i looked it up on the internet and clicked on his bio and it had "Date of Birth" and not date of death. It is still kinda hard to believe i guess cuz you didn't hear much about him and then all of a sudden he's dead.
