Answers: I dont think it is

8====> ---------------

Punk rock was never alive.

of course it's not! it's immortal

You're confusing it with rap.

Punk rock died when the first kid said "Punk's not dead, punk's not dead"

Punk rock will never actuallly die.

It can die to certain people

but its strictly opinionated

:)

No, it just smells funny.

The real punk died years ago when it went mainstream. It goes against all the things that punk was about.

yes and no.
there are the classics... such as ramones, sex pistols, misfits, etc.
however, there are no true punk acts in the mainstream today.
it has been diluted into this softer scene- from pop punk to emo.
but there probably are some underground punk rock bands around today.

I don't think punk rock is dead at all...There are a lot of people who listen to it...I mean...I hang out with a whole group of kids and adults who do. I think the music industry of punk rock is just beginning.

Of coarse not! I love punk rock as many others do as well.

punk rock will never die!

Well, it's not that popular anymore, but if you like it, then listen to it.

punk rock is not dead its just evolved. instead of power chords and one string solos its now intricate solos and even faster song tempos. bands like mxpx and blink 182 tried to kill it, but all they did was push the good stuff underground and provide a path for bands like new found glory to become "popular". Here's some thriving evolved punk rock: blueprint 76 (royce nunley of the suicide machines), bouncing souls, a wilhelm scream, death by stereo, the falcon, the lawrence arms, the living end, the methadones, nofx, osker, propagandhi, the river city rebels, shady view terrace, strike anywhere, strung out, and whole wheat bread just to start.

Its not dead - its just not what it used to be. Everything has become so commercial. The rawness is gone.
