No. The media is obsessed with them, and they throw the hype at the public.
I think half the time celebrities are famous simply for being famous. It's weird.
celebrities are just normal people like us, they are no different from the original people just b/c they have talent
I think we should focus more on their talent and less on their personal life. The whole idea of famous sociallites really disturbs me.

i dont think that all celebrities are worth the attention some people give because according to me celebrities are also people who are normal human beings with a bigger salary than an average person and i too don't see why they need all the attentions
Guilty. I check out all the gossip website (TMX, X17online, Final Pixx) and think that some of these celebs really need some space before something goes wrong, then i realize that every time I go to thier website I'm encouraging the behavior. I think there is a line that gets crossed by paps all the time (i.e when x17 put of pics of Brit on her period - way out of line) that endangers the safety of celebs.
they do deserve all the attention they get but that doesn't mean u should be obsessed with them, u can like them,love them but u can't be obsessed about them

I think that some celebrities have extraordinary talents and these do need to be recognised. What I don't agree with is the hero worship that some of these celebrities recieve when it is quite obvious that they are doing nothing to aid their talent but quite the opposite. Celebrities like Amy Winehouse for example; she has an amazing talent and yet she is better known in the media for her drug and alcohol abuse than she is for her talent.
With Heath Ledger's death. I think they don't want to be others' attention. 'Cause they're celebs, everyone will think they're perfect and that's stressful. They're human too.
I think they are worth the attention focused on their music, movies, whatever it is they do to entertain us. Beyond that, NO. I have never had much interest in the private lives of celebrities, except way, way back when I had the hots for Bobby Sherman, and wanted to know if he was single, blah, blah, blah.
People that focus on celebrities to the extent they neglect their own lives need help. I really think celebrity attention should be on their professional accomplishments, we really don't have a need to know personal information and actions.
I agree with you 100% on this.
Okay, so these people are talented, some are beauitful and some are not. Here's the thing though; THEY ARE NORMAL PEOPLE. Others seem to forget that celebrities are not gods. They make mistake just like anyone else and like everyone else, there are dues to pay for those actions. Many celebrities aren't even happy with their lives so why would you want to worship them? It just doesn't make any sense to me.
