Grieving for Heath?!
Question: Today I cried. I think its finally hit me that he is gone. I didnt believe it at first, I thought it must have been someones idea of a sick joke.
I can't believe this has happened. I am shellshocked.
I know I never knew him personally, but for many many years I have admired his talent, his charm, his incredible good looks and his ability to stay "real".
Is it normal to feel sorrow at the death of someone I never even met? I really feel like someone I knew has died.

Yes, I feel it's normal to grieve for someone you haven't even met personally. If they have touched your life in some way...then you will miss them. It was a shock to me as well. He will be missed. I feel for his family. I lost my mom not too long ago..and know that death and dealing with it is a day to day process...my prayers are with his family and friends.

I know exactly how you feel. When I first read the news I to was shocked that I couldn't move for what seemed like a minute but was probably just a few seconds. I cried and mourn someone I never met. I enjoyed his work and admired his ability to just be himself. His talent will be missed.
Its normal! People all around the world are crying (including me) its so sad and tragic!

I used to be a big Heath Ledger fan around the time A Knights Tale came out. But I was completely shocked to hear about his death. I never met him, and I also feel like someone I know has died. It is just so hard to believe that he is gone. He had so much left to give. His daughter will never get to know her dad. It's sad.
yes its okay and it normal its just like when we all cried for the people from the 911 tragedy. most of them did not know them personal the stars become or idiols the people we look up to they said a bunch of people went on antidepressives when steve irvwin passed away just hang in there cry it all out and pray for his baby. and understand he in a better place
I think its normal, ive definately felt really sad about it. I still feel as though because he was australian, thats what we had in common and to lose something thats common to you can be quite hurtful. You do feel as though you have a connection to him especially if you've watched most of his movies and followed his career. We will miss heath greatly R.I.P Heath
its not wrong to feel sad when someone u dont even know died, thats called having heart.
it did make me very sad, but i havent been able to cry, im all dried out from monday that i just cant cry .. but i really do feel horrible that he died ..
