Ryan decided to end his contract. Originally, the producers wanted him to stay, but Ryan insisted on going to college. He wanted to concentrate on school and put acting second. Ryan will continue to act, but not on Degrassi.
I wished Ryan stayed on the show. Degrassi is kind of wierd without him. He was one of the main characters that has been on the show since he was a child.
Ryan Cooley chose to leave the show. He wanted to go to University and felt like it was time for him to explore other things after playing the character for some time. It was actually his idea to end the storyline that way.
I was soooo upset when JT died! He was my favorite character. Ryan left to go to school. I hope he'll come back to do some "memories" in the show, like the one with Liberty that one episode
No, I don't watch the show. But I have seen commercials of it (since I watch the N). But I don't know why it's been on so long. I mean, if it's high school, isn't it supposed to be on for 4 seasons only? And not like 10 years (or however long it's been on for)? I think there are a lot of other good shows on the N, and they don't last as long. Like Instant Star. I love that show, and it's getting canceled, even though it's second in ratings to Degrassi.
