Britney freakin Spears?!
Question: I heard someone defend Britney Spears the other day and say that she has been clean for some time now, that bothers me because, often times addiction is accompanied with mental illnesses, and she is claiming to only have a mental illness which is just fine, but I do not believe its because she is "crazy", I think she is simply out for the attention, because I know plenty of drunks, addicts, and just plain crazies, and let me tell you, we ALL try to hide that we are ill from society, so why is this spoiled brat flaunting it around? I hate when kids say they are in mental turmoil because they didnt get enough hugs and kisses when they were little, stop blaming your damn parents, its your own fault, you are the only one responsible for the choices you make, most parents do the best they can, and then at some point you need to take control over your own freakin life, sorry but its not moms fault that you are a lunatic *****!

Yeah Britney is crazy and a complete idiot but just cos you know lots of other drunks and all that it doesnt mean you know Britney Spears. I mean i dont even like her music and all that. But can you blame her for how she acts??? She is in the public eye 24/7, she is getting photographed all the time. She cant even walk down the street without someone wanting her pic. How would you feel if you were being watched all the time and you were being criticised. And how she got crap for holding onto her baby while driving??? I would have done the same to protect him. She hasnt had a normal life for so long and now her kids have to suffer because people are "just doing there job" and stalking her. Its pathetic.
I think what people sometimes don't realize, is that celebrities live in a completely different world with different moralities and ethics to "normal people", so don't bother about her. Celebrities have a different culture, and it is the problem of today, such as war and racism, because we have no cultural understanding.
Until we actually are able to cross the line to respect every little culture and religion, we will never be at peace, and that in my opinion, will never happen as far as I am concerned...
maybe it's genetics that makes her a lunatic. We don't know if she really has a mental illness, but if she does I don't think she's blaming it on the fact that she didnt get enough hugs and kisses from her parents. I have some friends with mental illness and it is not their parents fault (nor do they blame their parents) for their disease.
I think you fail to realize that mental illness is as much a disease as say cancer or diabetes. I'm not defending her either, I could really care less, but I don't think it's fair to make a generalization about her when we don't have all the facts. Just leave her alone, she has to deal with her own problems.
