I want to be famous!!!!?!
Question: ok i really want to be a singer in a rock band. but i cant find a band everyweb site i go to it's for the uk. and every place where there are bands you have to be 18 to goi n. and i mean im 16 but i wan this so much that i feel like it's never going to happen. does any one have any advice for me and what i should do?

If you want to be in a band you should ask your friends if they want to start a band or something and maybe learn to play an instrument too thats way better and another way is to record yourself singing and put it on youtube to find a band or something because alot of famous people got noticed when people heard the way they sang on youtube. Or go to american idol or canadian idol where ever you are that works too for some people. Hope this advice helps you become famous!

You should get real.
No one wants a 15 year old as the lead singer in their band. I wouldn't care if you were better than the current person we have singing, I would not even consider you due to your maturity level. The perfect example of how immature you are lies within the question you just asked. Something about you wanting to be famous from singing at the age of 15 just seems to me like a stupid dream, hope, or desire. Although, I guess it would make a good wish.
To make it short and simple, you will never accomplish this simply because your doing it for the wrong reason; your doing it for fame, not because it is your passion. Your passion is what gives the fans passion. You need to learn this before you ask any other stupid questions.
well, That is what MYSPACE is for, myspace is to show off your band, If your music or song or rap is good, you will be like the next tila tequila or tay zonday or something if you get my drift.

Lot of your rock bands play bars. You need to find one that doesn't play in drinking establishments.
well, 2 start rock band is a huge thing now
u could start or join a band and play along with them for a while
or if not into the video games learn a instrument and start ur own

look for a band on myspace or put an ad on craigslist.com that you want to join a band start one at skool even
Do you write, or know how to play any musical instrument?
It doesnt sound like you do, If you dont then you will never go anywhere. Even those guys in the boy bands who go on to have solo carreers know how to play something Justin Timberlake say what you want about him, I hate his music but he can write, produce and play 3 differnt instrumnets. You want something then get out there and earn it no matter what your age is.
i know what you mean, im 17 1/2 and looking for one too. well heres some choices
1) move to one of those countries
2) emancipate yourself and you may be able to join in those bands that are for 18 and older, maybe, but probably not
3) start your own band
4) ask around at your school or your town
5) put an ad in the paper saying that your looking for a band
6) check the papers for a wanted section on a band
i know there are more choices but i cant remember them, sorry :/ hope these help or someone else helps more
and just because of your age doesnt mean that people dont want you. i know this great band called redline and they are awesome even though theyre lead guitarist is a 15 year old, or was at the time lol.

1- wait until you're older, you're not going to be taken seriously it's more likely you get taken advantage of
2- form your own band
3- don't go running around screaming "I want to be famous"
(it kinda just jinxs it if you ever get famous and then people find out you were trying to hard.)
4- don't search for a band to join on the internet (it's seriously a dumb idea) just go to little gigs around your town and make connections and then you should eventually meet up with people who have the same goals in mind. I live in the Atl and we have little (& big) venues everywhere where you can meet up with many different rock bands. Get out there don't just sit at home!
just a few pointers.
Do you want to be famous or do you want to be a singer? You can never know if you'll be famous but you can always be a singer. You're just 16, study your lessons your a** off and go to a prestigious music school. Like I said, noone can guarantee you'll make it, but if you take music education, you can at least find a job in the industry you want.
