Heath Ledger found dead in Manhatten?!
Question: 28 year old Australian actor Heath Ledger has been found found dead in his rented NYC apartment , he was suffering from pneumonia , but nyc reporters wrote he died from a drug over dose .He had recently returned from a christmas holiday with family in Perth he thanked media for leaving him alone and allowing him to enjoy his holiday.
Australians are angry at this statement because we know it's not true .An autopsy will be held tomorrow morning to determine cause of death , his family are mourning at his family home in Perth Western Australia.
Heath is survived by his mother , step father , sister's and his daughter Matilda (mother Michelle Williams of Dawsons Creek fame).

It's really sad. His career was really starting to take off. It looked like he was going to be really good in the new Batman movie. He was one celebrity that stayed out of trouble. I heard the family said that the death was accidental and he would've never committed suicide. One of the saddest things is people showing the body bag being taken out of the apartment. How horrible would that be for family members and friends to see that? People die everyday and it's sad but it's not on every news media out there. It's all just so sad.

Yeah I know, it's sad! They say his family may have found out by seeing it on tv or hearing it, what a HORRIBLE way to hear that your loved one has died. R.I.P. HEATH LEDGER!

It was a drug overdose but not of the illegal kind. Since he was having a hard time sleeping, he was using medication (both prescription and over the counter) to help him sleep. But I can see why you would get upset by that statement since it leads you to believe something else. It's sad that he is dead. I still can't believe it. My thoughts and prayers are with his family, especially his daughter.

This is very sad...I wish ppl would not jumped to conclusions about there being a drug overdose just bcuz there was a pill bottle. Give him the benefit of doubt until the autopsy. He will be missed!
Wow, first ive heard of this. I mean its only been all over the news and internet for the past 6 hours.
It is very sad that this world has lost a wonderful and talented young man who was a great friend, boyfriend and father, as well as son and brother. The fact that he was a talented actor is important as well, to those of us that appreciated the quality of his work, but should not overshadow his real life, in the real world.
No one will really know how he actually died until after an autopsy and medical tests are completed.
Unfortunately, the media and paparazzi will turn this into a horrible media circus, which is going to be horrifying for his family and friends and all of those who loved him.
May he rest in peace and may God hold all of his loved ones close during this terrible time.

it is so sad, no matter how he died. no one whould feed off of his death. it seems when something bad happens people love to gossip
