It is very sad really. My eyes teared up, even though i don't know the guy. I am a single mom, and even though my son's father and I aren't together I would be devastated if he passed. The reports hit me hard and his sources saying how much he loved his little girl. It also breaks my heart when I heard that certain baptist church (God hates Gays) are going to picket his funeral because of his role in brokeback mountain. They said it glorifies homosexuality. Do they not have a heart? His autopsy is today and they think it is an accidental overdose of sleeping pills, his role in Dark Knight as the Joker really affected him mentally because of the depthness of evil in that character. He battled drug addiction in the past but he has been clean for a year or so, which caused the split from Michelle Williams. I remember feeling this much pain for his family who are total and complete strangers back when Steve Irwin passed away. I hate seeing good people who are obviously talented pass away.

No, I'm with you on this one. Whether we knew him personally or not is beside the point. All celebrities in the spotlight like he was let us into their lives, and in turn we let them into theirs. It felt like we knew and loved him, so it's only natural that we feel the great loss.

I'm actually mad at him. I am a mother and can't believe he did this to his daughter. I jumped to conclusion and assumed the overdose was on purpose. I really hope it was an accident. Its very sad and scary. We are the same age, and both have small children. I hope his ex and daughter can get through this and the daughter can prosper.

I liked him from his movies. It's really saddening to learn that he died. I always feel sorry for those who die young. What breaks my heart even more is his 2-year old daughter. Poor girl.
