The power and control she seems to have these days is a bit scarey.
I don't watch her any more....nor do I watch any of the others who got their start through her......Dr Phil has turned into a Gong Show and Tyra Banks is such an Oprah "wannabe" its disgusting.
When ratings drop, when their books/magazines stop selling, when their audiences are half empty.....then they will go away!!
I was sick of her years ago and she did just go away - I changed the channel it really is that easy :)
As a woman........I too wish she'd go away. She does alot of great philanthropic stuff - but I'm done with her.
Not me. But I just don't watch it so maybe that's why. I guess if you dislike it that much, turn the tube off and go do something else. Or if you like TV that much, there is something called "remote control" and you can use it to change the channel.
ME ME ME ME - I have yet to learn one thing from her!!!! I just hear about all her money what she owns, what she buys.
It truly must be nice when all of us are struggling watching an old TV with her FATT BUTT speaks and makes money. She makes money while she is sleeping.

Oprah is a good person and whatever. And she does alot for people. But she's overrated. And I agree.
Im so sick of hearing about her and Barack Obama on the campaign trail together. She only like's him because he's black.
There was a time when I admired Oprah and I think she still does many good things but I think this year her show is lacking spirit. I wonder if it has to do with the writer's strike. I do not watch her show any more for this reason.

Take heart __ she has no offsprings so the diety pedestal will be removed someday. Then all you will hear "created / incorporated / developed / produced, etc., by the once famed / important..." yah dah, yah dah! Mind you, it will be mentioned sparingly.
These are the women that I believe are trying to 'feminize' the american male. Male dominated hobbies such as motorcycles or fishing, are painted as a dangerous, stupid and a waste of time.
Interestingly these same women spend half their lives buying shoes and talking about fashion and appearances. They believe that women are superior and nobody calls them bigots or 'male bashers'. Oprah offers men nothing, and the women who follow her every move seem to be envious, trivial busybodies totally lacking in self esteem. The only woman Oprah has ever empowered is herself.
Men unite, resist feminization and metrosexuality.
Just don`t watch her show and buy her magazine. If the majority of people, do that, Oprah would go away.

I am tired of her and i don't even turn the channel to her show; i rather watch a cop show or a divorce court show then to watch her show
I don't care much for Oprah, but to each their own. You can make her "go away" by just changing the channel. Given the choice, though, I'd rather hear about Oprah than someone like Brittney Spears or Paris Hilton or all the other celebrity 'trainwrecks' out there.
i think her show is sooo boring
me! i think she completely puts on an act for everyone! she does not care about anyone and why should she since she's got all that money? She needs to quit acting and messing with ppl's lives
