How do you write a movie script? What is like the format?!

Question: Can you give examples?

Answers: Can you give examples?

Here's a great site that can answer your question and provide you with the software that will format for you.

When I write scripts I just write it like this:

(This is just a crappy example that doesn't have to do with anything)

John: *Picks up book* What is this?

Cop 1: *Snatches book out of John's hand* You shouldn't be touching this...*looks at book*...cook book. Never mind, I thought we found something.

Cop 2: *Angry tone* Come on, you're wasting precious time.

Sally: *Runs into room* Wait, I found something! *Transition to next scene*

And yeah, that's pretty much how it goes. Some people do it a little differently. When writing what a character is doing, instead of *'s they might put it in parenthesis or bracketts.
