Zac Efron Gets Emergency Surgery

On Tuesday the world learned that Zac Efron would be sending off his character of Troy Bolton in a big screen “High School Musical” movie later this year. But just as his fans were learning of the news Efron was being rushed to a Los Angeles hospital to undergo emergency surgery to remove his appendix. Don’t worry too much about him though, Zac’s fine and “recuperating” in Cedars-Sinai Medical Center says his rep.
Appendicitis occurs when the bottom portion of the lower intestine becomes inflamed. No one is precisely sure why appendicitis happens but once it does it has to be removed from the patient as soon as possible. If it’s not removed the appendix can burst and infect the body, resulting in serious side effects and even death. Appendicitis most regular occurs to people between the ages of 10 and 30 but can still happen to anyone at any age.
Now that he has had the surgery what Zac’s doctors will advise him to do is get a lot of rest for the next couple of weeks. There should be little chance of any side effects from the surgery and by the time he has to report to the set of “High School Musical 3: Senior Year” Zac should be fully recovered and capable of learning all his new dance numbers.
Along with the 20-year-old star, Disney’s “High School Musical 3” will reunite all of the principal cast members including Vanessa Hudgens, Ashley Tisdale, Monique Coleman and Corbin Bleu as they prepare to produce a spring musical to celebrate their characters’ impending graduation. Efron will now be able to swap hospital stay stories with Ashley Tisdale who underwent rhinoplasty surgery in early December to correct a deviated septum. At the time the 22-year-old said that mustering up the courage to go under the knife was a daunting prospect. “It's uncomfortable and I hope this is the only time I ever have to go through something like this,” she recalled of her experience. Maybe Zac and Ashley can compare hospital food stories in-between takes on “HSM3”.

hes had his appendix removed but some complications have arisen and he has been put on some certain drugs...xyonophline and rhynomoforzen.....which are not only dangerous but are depressants......
