She teamed up with Discovery cable channel and it'll be called Oprah Winfrey Channel. She plans to inform people of healthy ways to take care of themselves. I don't think it happens until 2009 or 2010.
She did not take over 3 TV channels. She started her own TV network called O.W.N ( Oprah Winfrey Network) but she's still keeping her original show until at least 2011
I heard she was given her own network.
