yes I knew him, and unfortunately, knew him a bit well, because i followed his career and his life well before he died,

and i kind of expected this. To a degree.

He partied WAY too hard, and was a lost soul.

It happens. When you're lost, don't care and all you do is drink/do drugs, you're playing russian roulette.

Many hollywood types do, and eventually,

a few pay the price.


Sucks that it had to be him instead of Paris or Lindsay.

    I do remember that he once had a promising acting career but blew it all on drugs and alcohol. It's not that different that what's happening with Lindsay Lohan right now. I don't understand why female entertainers get a lot more public interest when they self-destruct but you generally don't hear as much about the males until after they die.
    I have had a crush on Brad Renfro since he was in "The Client". Too bad he died, but he has had a pretty tough time ever since he stole that yacht.
    Erm I don't know him but yes I was familiar with his work, I was really a fan actually, yes it's very sad.
    Brad Renfro? Yes. That is very sad. I heard that he had drug problems. I don't know how true that is, but that's what I'd heard. I remember him from that movie "The Cure." That was a tearjerker.
