I think she created an image of Tom Cruise in her head and now that she's really with him, she is brain-washing herself into believeing that the real Tom is the same as the one in her head. People now know who the hell she is instead of asking " Was her name Pacey or Joey on Dawson's Creek?" So that part plus the money and status probably contribute to her desire to stick with that type-A, control freak, nut job.

Yes, I think you could say that she is brainwashed. As is Cruise. From all I have read about Scientology, anyone who tries to leave the sect should be afraid.

I think she is. The way she holds herself etc. I always get the feeling that she is more of a girl than a woman. Hanging out with the Beckhams and changing her style from tomboy to this magazine paper cutout all bespeaks a certain weakness on her part. I dont think she is brainwashed per say,(Katie is smart ) I think she is overwhelmed by her feelings for and hero worship of her husband, and so she goes along with everything (katie holmes used to have a poster of cruise in her childhood /teenage bedroom). I think Nicole was a more mature more developed person who had more confidence in herself and was more the leader in their marriage-I dont think she worshiped him like an idol or god.

I agree, he is such a creep. If scientology is your religion thats fine and all. But why does he act like a total nut. At the end of the day he is not helping his religion, he is giving a big dose of crazy and making himself and the organization look horrible, almost cult like. CREEPY
It certainly appears so. It makes me respect Penelope Cruz that much more. On top of being talented and sooo Beautiful, she was strong and kicked Tom Cruise to the curb instead of letting him control her thoughts and beliefs.
Yeah I think alot of people get that vibe from both of them and thats why they get so much crap. Well that and Tom Cruise just acts crazy some times.
