Because she thinks she is bigger than she really is....HA! who she think she is Halle Berry? Its not acting when you play yourself in a movie!
Because she is stuck up and ghetto and thinks that she deserves it all just because she is pretty to look at and has the voice of a sick bird.
Beyonce truly thought that she would get a best actress nomination based on her success in the music business and the fact that everybody makes fuss over her because she is pretty. The music business has changed and if you have a great image, good looks and music with catchy tunes, you can make it if you are lucky.
Unfortunately it doesn't work that way in Hollywood. The movie business is a whole different ball game. Plus I don't think it would have been so bad if she wasn't so vocal about wanting an Oscar award. It made her look desperate. Then came along a nobody named Jennifer Hudson; that was like adding salt to an open wound (Ouch).
