Do you think celebrities are regular people? why or why not?!

Question: heres why i ask. i see questions on here daily about different ones. all kinds one user asked why zac efron needed to go in a public gas station restroom. you have to be kidding. he had to pee obviously. they even posted a link to an article on the story where the writer stated he went into a stalled and urinated. do people these days truly belie that celebrities arent regular people with real pain and physical needs.

britney is another good example, she grew up in the limelight she had no teenage life so she rebelled has a young adult. and no shes a messed up train wreck in need of serious mental help. i feel bad for her and her boys, she needs someone to love her for who she is not her bank account.

Yes, they are regular people like you and me and everyone needs their privacy. Just because they're jobs put them on the big screen doesn't mean we should put their lives on the big screen. Zac Efron is entitled to using the facilities just as much as the rest of us. And in Britney's defense, I don't think it was her childhood so much but I think that it was having two children right after one another. If you ask me, she's been suffering from post partum depression the entire time and she just doesn't know where to turn for help and so she turned to the easiest thing in Hollywood, the party life. She needs help and she needs her privacy to get better, the media doesn't treat her like a human being, if a cat is stuck up a tree, someone should try to get it down, not take picture after picture of it and post it everywhere and ask "why did the cat get up the tree to begin with?"

they humans to

Regular people don't have millions of dollars.

They are reagular people. They just have talents in other areas that have been publicly noticed. Yeah I trip at some of the ignorance of people and how they put these people on pedastals like they are god or soembody. They are regular people just like every one else.

They are people, just with terrible ego's that make themselves seem higher up

No, they act and are like children in adult bodies.

i think usually that they're just regular people who happen to have talent.

Yeah. Only difference is that they got a million dumba**es to worship them.

Some are, some are not AND some used to be, before all the notoriety.

I think most are.
some seem to have hangups where money is no object and its spent on outrageous things, and others seem more in tune with us normal broke folks.
I know they seem to have real problems, and since they are in the public eye, peeing and problems have no hiding space

yes they are you just like us

yea because they are just people after all they just make movies etc.......there not all that special

Yes, celebrities are regular people. The ones with a great deal of fame have to deal with the press following them around all the time, which must be a trying situation.

They are under alot of pressure to be called normal.

Yeah celebrities are regular people but their private life is exposed to the public.

Yes they are. They get dressed the same way we do,undergarments first, socks before shoes, we all brush our teeth the same way, everything we do is the same they are humans they just have more money then most of us. Although I do think celebs need to think before they do anything because eventually it will end up on the front of a magazine.

Celebrities are exactly the same as everyone else except for "talent" and the money. Those are the only two things seperating us. People need to lighten up on celebrities, because they do human things the same way we do. But I also don't like when celebrities complain about being in the spotlight, isn't that why they became celebrities in the first place?

They surely are regular people, regular people that just happened to get a lot of fame or money and now they are the ones that think are special ha ha!

Well certainly some stars act like regular people (obviously zac is or he would've peed in the car instead of using the gas station) but some stars are too caught up in their wealth to act like a normal person. it's sad, because what they've become has distorted our visions of them, but it's the truth.

I think they are regular people, but they dont. They are spoiled and what you said about Zac Efron, thats pathetic. I'm sorry but its ridiculous. I don't know why people obsess over celebrities anyway, it seems really silly to me. I don't think "stars" know what love is because every other day we here about breakups and divorces.

I dnt think they are normal because most of den love the camera's too much and dey r stuck up bt some aint like Zac Efron. XD

i do think that celebrities are regular people they breathe eat and cry just like the rest of us human beings. i think they jus feel that they are always on spotlight that maybe they are better than us ordinary people. maybe not all of them but most of them feel like God!!which is not a good thing.

they are humans too, but they get drunk just to look cool on tv, which messes up their lives. i agree that if ya hav 2 pee, use a restroom, stop freakin out about it world! but brittany is the one who messed up her own life! she used over-the-counter medications as drugs, dropped her boys, probably brain damaging them, and had children at a very young age. some celebrities deserve their bad reputations, and some of them dont

I agree with you...they are just normal people just like everyone else...like in the tabloids they have stuff like even Hannah Montana spills on her shirt sometimes and a picture of her with sause on her shirt...well why wouldnt she we all miss our mouth sometimes lol...People just think of celebrites as people because they're in the limelite they make them out to be gods which is why they think they can get away with everything...if you give someone special treatment all the time and then condem them when they have a break down its just be a hypocrite

for example the guy that got jaime lyn spears pregnant its illegal for them to have sex but i doubt they will do anything legally unless he leaves her...

Personally i think it would be nice to have the money and the fame but everything has it price and with the celebrity life your price is your privacy and freedom

The paparazzi posts stupid stories on them. But they knew as soon as they got into this industry that it would happen sooner or later. Not all celebrities are pin pointed on, just the ones that cry out for attention. (Britney, obviously, Paris, Lindsay, Jamie Lynn, Vanessa H etc.) they've ALL done it..... examples?

Britney, she may be mentally ill, but if she really loves her sons like she says she does, she'd get help. You can't help people who do not wish for help.

Paris, where do I begin? The porn tapes for one. Enough said. Those little feuds she always has with her so called "friends", too.

Lindsay, again, probably mentally ill somewhere across the line. No excuse for not wanting help, she can get it anytime she wants to. Basically the same as Paris, crotch shots, the drugs.

Jamie Lynn, announced to the world she was pregnant. Everyone is now making a big deal out of it, if it was any other normal teenager, like those Asian girls who have sex at the age of 11 and are pregnant by the time they're 12, it wouldn't be a big shock like it is. It's only because she's Britney's "innocent" little sister.

Vanessa Hudgens, nude picture scandal. I believe she put them up herself to help boost the popularity of HSM 2, as with the new movies she's in this year. If I'm wrong, it's still her fault either way for showing them to whomever she showed them to. I doubt her ex boyfriend would put them out just like that, it would of happened long ago. It was set up by HER. The whole dating thing with her former co star Zac Efron is possibly a set up as well, not sure, they've been dating ever since the first movie came out, so who knows? No one. It's hard to tell. I don't see why everyone cares about it, to tell you the truth.

People who get mostly GOOD publicity like Angelina Jolie don't go flashing their coochies around for all to see. So yes, it IS possible to avoid the paparazzi on a regular basis, without having bad rumors spread about you. Do the right thing in the industry and maybe you WON'T have bad stuff said about you daily.

So the answer to your question, we're all REGULAR people, there's no such thing as anyone being better than us, we're all equal. Just because they make a couple of million off what they do, doesn't mean they don't hang with their friends at the mall or wipe their own backside.

They're regular people. The only thing is that they have more fame, money, and are known by more people. But they have to do the same things "normal" people do, and they have problems in their lives, too.

I'm sure they're all just regular people. With all the day to day problems like the rest of us.

Its all about marketing them and creating hype and interest to ultimately generate money... when they no longer do that they are history. Many celebs like Frank Sinatra actually paid girls to rush him in public places for publicity, asking for autographs and pics for the photo opps. Its no accident when you see actors at the World Series or whatever and then their movie or tv show comes out. Most of them get involved with charitable causes for their image, Al Gore won lots of awards and praise for his Global Warming movie and trhen goes home to an estate that uses more energy than most people's entire house is worth... Most of the so-called candid shots in magazines are staged as well... its all about money.

I think a lot of it has to do with the media and their own obsession with these people, and the money they can make off them. They know that their are many gullible people walking around, and with some, you can say pretty much anything whether its via television, magazine, radio, news paper, and they will believe it.

If the media 'says' these people are something special and to be worshipped, then sadly, some people will act accordingly. Almost like a robot.

I remember being on a gossip blog a few years ago, reading something and it was suggested that these people dont even use the bathroom! I mean, come on. But you know, its realy not their talent that gets all this hype, its their personal lives. If you watch the gossip shows, read the gossip blogs and tabloids, do you ever notice how if they are in the middle of filming or already completed and it has just recently hit the theatre, its almost like their work is an after thought. Its always something like.

"There goes Brad Pitt, dropping the kids off at school!" And look, heres Angelina, picking them up." "Whoa! Now there on there way to dinner!" "Hey!!! There they are again, at the park!" "Theres Brad again... with a bottle in his back pocket. Oh my wowwie wow!" "Oh yeah, and The Assanation of Jesse James hits theatres at such and such time".

Its a shame, but it realy IS about their private lives. If we -only- heard about these people when they were out promoting their work, then I think this nonesense of treating them like they dont have a butt and never use a toilet, or that their mighty gods, would vanish and people would be just like you and realize they ARE indeed human. And yeah, their sh*t DOES stink.

Until the media stops glamourizing these people, it will never change and there will always be some yoyo out there who thinks they are not human.

WHO CARES?! Seriously, what difference does this make? How is pondering about celebrities going to make the world a better place?
