Very well, from the stanpoint of a teacher, was for six years prior to doing ,,, what I am doing now. I suppose I can go and on about this topic but here it is in a nut shell:
1. We learn best when we use most of our senses and surely you know what they are. So, the more of the five senses we use to "study" the subject matter,, chances are we will gain a better "unerstanding" than not.
2. Reading about a certain topic of interest,, writing about it, discussing it, that is good and well. However, actually seeing it, touching it, smelling it, hearing, it, and even tasting it,, well,,, You will have an impression,, an inprint in your memory brain cells. This is why field trips are great.
The bottom line is that field trips greatly enhance the learning process,, being there and experiencing it, is much better than reading and talking about it.
because u get educated....duhh.
Just say that it makes us more educated and smarter. It is important to us as it can teach us lessons that are not featured in textbooks. I hope this helps.

Taking a field trip is also a great way to break up the monotony of going to the same classroom everyday. It is a good way to show students that learning can be fun.
EDUCATIONAL FIELDTRIP helps you to learn more better...because you can actually see what you are studying......
And it is different when you can see it , for students it is very fun...
Its important because you just not learn , you also develop your social needs of the students...... and etc...
I say that because I'm a student and if we have a field trip those are the things that I learn...
