Does anyone else think Natalie Portman is average looking?!
Question: I've never understood the fascination with her. Some call her "breathtakingly beautiful, etc" but I just don't see it. Not even when Star Wars was popular did I see it.
She's cute, in a very average/girl-next-door kind of way.

Yea, she is just that wholesome girl next door. She is not hot, but she is not ugly. Most celebs when you peel back the glamor are pretty normal looking.

I don't even find her attractive. She's touted as being attractive, but that's not going to change her real looks.
I think her, Angelina and Britney Spears are way overrated.

She is cute and average looking. If you see many of the stars without their makeup they look very different. Photos and films are manipulated, have always been.
She sure is not dull or ugly - I would be glad to sit by her in class any day.

I think it might be the fact that it doesn't take her much effort to look the way she does; she looks virtually the same with or without makeup. And...the last time I read "US Weekly" must celebrities look god awful without a heaping globe of makeup on their faces!

but the majority of actresses aren't actually pretty
at school we had this 4week self esteem program with this psycologist who used to be the guitarist for NSYNC and he knows heaps of celebrities. he said and showed us pictures of them without makeup and they were actually all worse than Natalie Portman
eg he said Rachel Bilson is actually the palest person he knows and when they get onto the set of the oc they airbrush her whole body with makeup to make her look tanned

well for me shes not pretty at all quite average but not ugly well i guess its about fame and glamour that makes us think she's gorgeous but then hey since when she doesnt wear make up and still looks presentable that makes her fair quite well with other celebrities well we should admit it we have our own taste on looks but atleast i think we share on appeal most agree when someone has a sort of an appeal or charm i guess natalie doesnt fair well on that one
