She has been battling this cancer for some time and is reportedly in Europe right now, undergoing some sort of an experimental treatment. I hate to say this but it doesn't look good. When people start looking at unproven or experimental treatments like this, it usually shows that all other conventional treatments have been tried and failed. This is a last hope for them.

How very sad!! What disease does she have?? ....... you know, i used to love watching her on Charlie's Angels !! Wow, that's about 30 years ago now.......

Those medical predictions are always just estimates. They told my brother he had six months WITHOUT chemotherapy, maybe twelve months WITH. He fought the cancer for 3 1/2 more years. Keep in mind when it's about a celebrity, somebody's going for a sound bite; they're not going to give you the full diagnosis and prognosis when the announcement is made; they're going for a headline, an attention-grabber. I hadn't heard this about her. But as long as there's life, there's hope.
I heard that also sad to hear. Doctors usually go by how far the disease has progressed in whatever length of time.
