I read that after evaluating her and talking with family Dr. Phil felt she was too unstable and in dire need of help (obvious!!) and that the situation was too fragile to expose her to anything in the public eye? I think he knew he would be seen as exploiting someone who was mentally ill... and it would be.

According to my news sources, Britney's parents prevailed on Dr. Phil to intervene. He went to the hospital, and she walked out on him; but later he met with her for an hour, before she was released. Now the family's p.o.ed about him making statements to the press about what he feels should be happening, that in general, he feels someone in her family needs to take the bull by the horns, and get her the help she needs.
I think he is the father to one of britney's kids , it was born bald and stupid

Too much drama here!! I heard that the family asked him to come talk to her in the hospital. She was packing when he arrived but sat and talked to him for an hour, then he walked her to her car. He released some statements about how bad she was. How she really needed some help. Now the Spears family is saying that Dr. Phil exploited them and that he shouldn't have released the statements and it was suppose to be confidential basically. Not sure what's going to happen from this point.
