Who's more overrated? Jessica Alba or Natalie Portman?!
Question: I'm going to get crap for this, but these 2 are the most overrated women in Hollywood in terms of beauty and "acting ability."
They are both pretty, but in a very girl-next-door kind of way, not "gorgeous" or "beautiful" as some other actresses are.
Plus neither can act (ahem, Star Wars is garbage and does not test acting ability...)

I believe Jessica Alba is way overrated to, She is very lucky that she has gotten this far in this business. She desperately needs 2 either get acting lessons or just quit the business.Serisously looks can only take you so far. I mean does she even watch her movies? and say "that was one of my best." But I agree with you keira Knightley is a beautiful and talented actress. she will have a good movie career based on her movie choices. Oh and the movie atonement was a good movie.

Acting wise Alba isn't the greatest there are alot better actresses out there. But it's a matter of opinion on hotness. I think Portman is an okay actress.

Jessica Alba is over-rated. I don't like her! She used to be pretty but her looks have gone downhill.

jessia alba can't act worth sh*t. she is in crappy movie after crappy movie and is only talked about because she's "hot." natalie portman is talented and inteligent. I LOVE V for Vendetta. Star wars was not her fault. Put any great actor sh^tty movie and you get medicore crap. natalie will go very far. her career has only just begun in comparison to the other women you listed. Im just mad that you feel jessica alba and natalie portman compare at all.

LOL penelope cruz is disgusting. Jess Alba and Natalie Portman are stunning. I think they are the most 'naturally' beautiful girls out there. All the others you mentioned are made up dolls. Take a look at them without makeup compared to portman and alba and you'll see what i mean. They are not overrated at all, no offence.
Of all the women listed there the only one I'd pay good money to see is Salma Hayek and i'm not as crazy about her as I once was.
Jessica Alba definitely. She may look hot (although if you ask me she looked her best in Dark Angel because she was more curvy and less Hollywood) but she can't act to save her life.
Natalie Portman is genuinely talented. Watch Closer, she's great in that movie.
