No offense to James Blunt, but does anyone else think that he?!
Question: gets crazy eyes when he performs? I mean he is of course a beautiful songwriter with huge talent, but whenever I've seen him perform, he sometimes looks like he is going to murder everyone in the audience. Am I the only one that sees this?

I think he has a very expressive face, and wears his emotions in his eyes.
I have met him after a show, and not only lived to tell about it, he was very nice and very funny.

Since I consider myself an observer, I took a look at some of his videos. All I can conclude is that subconsciously you associate him (his persona) with some murderer whom you've come to known.
Maybe it is that you are thinking of someone that you know when you look at him. I know that happens when I gaze upon Jeff Goldblum or Barry Manilow; they both remind me quite strongly of an old roommate.
So I would say that you are projecting this impression onto him subconsciously.
Then again, perhaps he really does murder everyone in his audience. After all, have you ever met any of those people in his audience after his show? I'll bet not.
