Do you care when someone gives you a "thumbs down"?!
Question: I was just wondering if you're bothered if someone gives you a thumbs down. Does it matter? Do you use the feature at all?
And no it doesnt have anything to do with celebs, but Im here the most and I see thumbs down all of the time, thats why I asked here.

No, I couldnt care less. I answer honestly, and if someone doesnt agree I respect that, and they may thumb me down. I just feel sad for the ones who run around thumbing everyone down just because they dont like what others have said.
I do use the feature. I thumbs up people with things I agree with, or if the response was witty and made me laugh, however, I do not thumb people down unless it is -incredibly- rude and if its to the point where its reportable, I will do so. Mainly because there are young kids here and they dont need to be treated like that. Other than that, I dont care. This is Yahoo answers, if you take half of this stuff seriously, theres something wrong.

Does not bother me at all, they are to be expected. The only time it bugs me is when the question is "Do you like so and so" You get a thumbs down simply because you do not like that person. But a thumbs down for a bad answer or bad advice? Yeah, tht is to be expected sometimes.And yes I do use the feature for rude or inapropriate answers.

You know, it kind of bothers me. I know it shouldn't but it does.
Nope. I just shrug it off. And I do go out of my way to give the best possible answer due to a certain knowledge of the question being answered, so it doesn't bother me in the slightest. :) I only use the feature to give thumbs up. Some people have great answers.

No, I really don't. But I rarely go back and look at my past answers so I usually remain blissfully unaware of any thumbs down I receive. I use the thumbs down sparingly, as you do, only for particularly bad answers. I wouldn't get too upset about getting thumbs down though since there are obviously some trolls on here who go through and automatically give every answer a thumbs down. What pitifully boring lives they must lead.

Only when my opinion is different to everyone else's, and they give a thumbs down because of that.
Also when it's for no good reason. I got 3 for an answer that said that it wasn't TOO weird to name your kid Johnson but call him Jack, because it's common to do it when your names John. What's wrong with that?
