OMG - this is a toughy! That guy has to be the most big headed, arrogant, boring twat to ever have wandered the planet. People go on about Ozzy Osbourne and Keith Richards being drug addled idiots but when you listen to good old Macca you have to wonder...................... But then again, that's just my opinion.
i find him boring and lame...sorry.
Umm, no... i wouldnt consider living in a multi million pound house/ houses with maids etc to be down to earth or humble!
but if he was to give me one of them, i'd consider thinking him humble!
edit: okay billy i'll take your word for it as i dont know enough about him other than whats in the papers....but what we read about isnt really a judge on anyones true character.
well i like him and he seems a nice enough guy, apparently he has just had an op on his heart so i read somewhere, so let's hope he has a speedy recovery.
His one serious error of judgement was to get married to THAT woman (no, I don't mean the Lovely Linda!). Apart from that, a genius.

I think he employs a lot of excellent PR people who do a lot of work to make sure people think that.
I don't care one way or the other but do you believe all the press hype about Heather Mills? I doubt she's a very nice person but I doubt McCartney is either - his PR people are just better than hers.
Incidentally in comparison with John Lennon McCartney was and always will be a talentless hack.
i admire his achievements but i think he is colourless, boring, and insipid, and made a bad choice with his second wife, he was obviously still grieving for linda.
edit-good point billy, he has got class, and dignity, ill give him that,and its only his disastrous marriage to heather mills that dragged him into the tabloids.
Mebbe...but his choice of partners leave a lot to be desired!
