Do you think Beyonce is a good body image role model for kids? Tyra Banks, a goo!
Question: i think she has a good body image role model considering...i mean she isn't too big or too skinny. but she sings about her body and her sex appeal...also she wears a blonde hair weave, and she just gives into the eurocentric standards so heavily, like a lot of women celebrities...i think if she had dreads or an afro she would not sell big like she does...as does a lot of girls...i heard on fox news today, her jennifer hudson, tyra, etc. are good role models as far as body image for teen girls not to have eating disorders...but that is true considering...it used to be women with no curves...i mean no women in hollywood, would ever be really big, because big is not in...i still think tyra, beyonce, and jennifer hudson are quite small considering...i think beyonce is kind of thin though, like her tummy is flat, but her breasts and butt and thighs are larger...you know...and with all the plastic surgery, with s women getting breast and butt implants...especially white women...its a wonder

No. The only women you need to look to for YOUR body image are swimming in your gene pool. Unless you continually watch your caloric intake, the figures of the women in your family will be your natural destination.
i think tyra is a good role model more than beyonce because beyounce would go on crazy diets everytime see got a new movie role.
shes said shes done something like a lemon diet or water diet.. something stupid like that and will only lead to death if you get hocked and do it for a long time.
beyonce is skinny but in a fit way.. she works out... thats the only difference with her and the skinny cat walk models
sees more a good role model for black young children... because of her and j.Lo big bums, (natuarly common in black women), big lips and a slim curvey body is accepted.. which is why she is a good role model but only in that respect
tyra is now an over weight ex model.. but has been drawn to speech about how girls should love themselves no matter their size.
so just the fact she use to be a model allows her to be a role model
dont know too much about beyonce,but tyra is a complete skank,she thinks her **** doesnt stink and that she can do no wrong.
I have encouraged and will continue to encourage both of my children to not use celebrities or anyone else as a role model. My husband and I live our lives as a "model" for our children. We hope that they will turn out to be individuals, but we are living the life that we would want them to live.
We don't drink, smoke, overeat or overspend! I don't think anyone should "look up to" anyone else other than a parent or close family member!
No offense...but I don't believe that there should be a "good body role image".We are who we are.There should be more emphasis on "good attitude"
Beyonce may have been a good role model at the beginning of her career but fame has changed her completely. Destiny's Child had a Chrisitian background and in the recent years it seems to me that she has turned her back on that in order to gain mare mainstream fans. I do think that her curviness does send out a good message to teenage girls and it is great that she has not succumbed to the skinny revolution. She just looks healthy.

I think Beyonce is a role model to those who want to be noticed 4 their body and their sex appeal and not what their character is. Don't get me wrong, Beyonce is the bomb and lots of people like her music but some of her songs really do talk about her body and stuff like that. So what i'm trying to say is that I don't think she is an appropriate role model for kids. The same goes for Tyra Banks because of the clothes she wears and the things she talks about. I haven't heard much from Jennifer Hudson lately so I don't know what 2 say about her
I prefer Tyra's message over Beyonce(though I don't consider either of them role models). And if Tyra Banks is overweight in your book, then I must be a whale!
Beyonce has a great body....she's got a REAL body with curves,and a great *** to boot!
She has the typical Latino/Black person's body,(like J-LO) that looks great in clothes and looks healthy.
Yeah....she's a great body role-model to others showing you can be successfully in the Media and not be stick thin!
