Question: Does anyone have the inside scoop on the estrangement between Julia Roberts and her brother Eric; or with Angelina Jolie and her father Jon Voigt..???
I am always curious how families reach such a point where they no longer can even speak to each other - like a cautionary tale, don't let this happen to you!

I know the Roberts were estranged because in the 90's Julia sided with Erics' ex during a custody battle but they reconciled when Julia had her twins in 2004.
As for Angelina and her father it was about her childhood or something, her parents split when she was very young and she moved to the east coast while her father was in the heyday of his career in CA. I have seen reports and articles on how he's tried to reconcile with her and she doesn't want any part of it. I would suggest googling it for more details.
They feel that writing about celebs who are doing careless acts over and over is the most important thing the world.
No I dont, and who cares. ????? Those ppl dont know us and dont want to know us, They want us to idolize them and keep them rich.
I am sorry to hear when ppl split up anyone, its very painful, but its all choice. All we can do is pray for them.
We arent to judge them, but we are allowed to judge sin in the life of a believer, just not judge or condemn them. These ppl we dont even know. I See no reason to assume any are Christian. But, we can still pray for them all, yet being very thankfor to God that we dont live that type of lifestyle , so far away from God and the message of Jesus Christ.
God wants ppl to be married, and love each other forever, BUt it takes both sides to want that. And< God wants families to be close and in each others lives as well. But again, it takes both sides to have that. God will give one permission to step away from family, but to love them and pray for them, and forgive them, when they refuse to treat others ith respect and honor. God doesnt requires anyone to be a doormat, as it helps noone, and it never honors God.
As far as the entertainment media, I find this to be something so absolutely wicked> Not only should we not make idols of these folks, the way the media hounds them, they dont allow them any real life or privacy. There are some that believe we are entitled to know ALL about a celebrity. Bullonie. Hogwash. Just because we watch them sing or act, or do comedy, whatever.. gives us no right to be so involved in their personal life that they have no privacy at all. ITs not any of our business, and if we have a life, why would we care. WE need to focus on our own life and being sure we are right with God and living right. I have no time for movie stars. Most wouldnt even give us the time of day, and most live lives that we best hope none of our children ever live, with all the drugs, and booze, and living in such violence and darkness.. apart from the things God has for us all. Lets pray for them, and then leave those poor ppl alone.
Why do we worry about them, when we few will worry about what God thinks of them, when God is the ones that says yes or no to our going to heaven. Bratt Pitt has no say in it, nor Angelina, or JUlia and Eric, or anyone else. God hates division, but when ppl refuse to live a life that honors God, division will always come. so if you are worried about them, maybe you could send fan mail to tell them to draw near to God. HE heals every relationship that ppl will allow Him to heal, thru obdience and love to God.
There are some in my family that no longer talk either, and much is pettiness, but the fact is , one cant make another one act kind, and loving, and trying to get along. Some are so full of self that they treat everyone with disprect, and it causes division every time. You ever hear the old story, it takes two to make a relatiionship work.?? Its true, but it only takes ONE to destroy it, by refusing to do anything except live for SELF>
I pray your quesiton will make some think, especially if they have family and other relationships that are non united now. This is a new Year, time for new beginnings.
