because.... they already ahve the whole 4th season recorded. the movie just starts the 4th season. in that movie zoey finds out chase loves her. so im sure that she comes back after that, and THAT begins the whole 4th season, with zoey knowing that chase loves her.
some of you people dont get it. the espisodes they show are NOT live, they are recorded a year earlier. And by the time the whole 4th season is shown, jaime would have had her kid already, and maybe postpone the show for a few months to give her a break. then start the show up again.

The last episode of zoey 101 is called goodbye zoey and in this episode zoey parents ask her if she would like to study in london she then goes and asks chase if she should leave and chase feels angry and tells zoey to leave and thus zoey leaves but later chase realizes his folly and apologizes but zoey doesnt accept his apology chase becomes depressed and replaces zoey with another disgusting girl michael and logan tries to knock some sense into chases head but he refuses to listen but in end he admits his love for zoey but what he doesnt know was that the webcam in his room recoded whatever he said and sent it to zoey after zoey saw this she returns to PCA
