I don't hate her. She can act pretty good, but can't sing worth a crap. She just sings into a vocal processor. My dad tells me that because he's a musician and works with all those technical voices processors and stuff. The only reason she's famous is because of her dad. I bet if he wasn't able to make her famous, she wouldn't even be on the Disney channel. I really can't see how people can listen to her music and think that she's just the greatest singer on the Earth.

I think she's just the next Hilary Duff who's making bank now and isn't known for the party scene even though she dated Joel Madden like Nicole. She has self-control which I think Miley does because her parents are heavily involved in her life.
I was stunned when I saw "Dance like Hannah Montana" or what ever on TV. I don't think she can dance or sing and is only famous because her dad is a famous country singer.

-she works with her dad on Hannah Montanna, so obvioulsy she is mature enough to be able to do that
-she doesn't swear on her tv show
-in her magazine articles her parents tell about rule they set for her- limits on money (i think she only get like 200 a month to spend) and rule on dating (no single dates till she's older)
-she wears modest clothing

I don't hate her. She IS a sweet girl with a good family. However, she has atrocious grammar and is cocky. She can barely sing and has her fame handed to her like Paris Hilton. She is not a good role model, but is not the worst out there.

I don't hate Destiny Hope Cyrus (her real name) but like the other answer I do hate the "stars" that Disney is cooking up these days including her "Hannah Montana" persona along with other people like "Jonas Brothers" and the stupid cartoon character names like "Kim Possible"

well, i don't hate her (you've got 2 actually know them 2 do that.) but i do think that people make a big deal out of her just cause she's some 15 year old singer. my dog can sing better than her. my suggestion, just try 2 ignore her. which, sorry, will be pretty hard since she's ALWAYS being talked about.
