Not really.. I mean her songs for Blackout are really well written.
She didn't have to exercise her vocals much and the songs manage to sound so catchy.
But why is everyone going towards the dance/electronica genre? First Hilary Duff,then The Veronicas then now her.

you do know its mtv/ v-h1 they control who they want to get a push. they make more money that way. She will have many 'comebacks' but her best days are well behind her. its like metallica. if you want to belive mtv and vh-1 you will think metallica is still relevent but if you listen to the music for yourself you know their best is 10+ years ago. britney spears is a hag now

umm she will always be famous but this video is really good and will probably just give her a boost of being more famous so yeah i think she just made her comeback especially from losing custody of her kids!
I hope so....I love the whole Blackout album, the whole thing. The thing with me and CDs is that I'll like 3 or 4, maybe 5 songs on it , but definately not this one....shes real edgy and different on this one....If you dont have it get it!

While there is substance that is reminiscent of her popularity she still has an underlying eddy of controversy which transcends her attempts to regain the spotlight which would have been better served with her regaining custody of her children and showing her fans and the world that she actually has substance beyond video appeal.
It is understandable that the undying love of her true fans will never cease, however, there is undoubtedly a fan base that has abandoned her leaving little doubt that she will have a difficult time climbing to the top of the once in the clouds level of limelight. Sometimes making a comeback is just a dream but we should wait and see what the entertainment industry has to say after the fallout.

Well, seeing the VMA performance "Gimme More", I think she needs help. I mean if I were her kid I wouldn't look up to her or admire her as a mother or something.
Her days of singing pop and dancing like she used to have to end now. She's now a mother of 2 kids and should stop with the dirty dancing. I mean, continue with the singing. Just don't go around with some weird costume and groping men all over the stage :| That's not cool that's just dumb and stupid.
And her poor kids are being dragged around to many different courts and all I won't be surprised if they achieve an amazing feat of visiting just about every court in the country :|
So basically what I'm trying to say here is that I just hope she understands soon that she is a mother now and needs to ... well, move on. Not stick with the old stuff she used to do.
Maybe people will quit talking bad about her now. Now that the focus is on her little sister, Brit can pick up the pieces of her life.
