Why are people so critical of Miley Cyrus?!

I don't understand why she is comparing Selena Gomez to Miley Cyrus. I have seen a picture of Selena in my sister's magazine where she was wearing a low-cut dress as well. Personally, I think Miley's dress at the Teen Choice Awards was not too revealing. I think she dresses well for a girl at the age of 15. I know girls younger than her that wear more inappropriate clothing when attending school...and get this CHURCH! I think a lot of people envy Miley because she is a good, responsible girl who proves to be an outstanding role model for younger girls. I don't know why her "innocence" leads to such criticism. I think if you want to bash a teeny bopper, you should consider Jamie Lynn Spears...come on, pregnant at 16 by a 19 year old guy! Does anyone agree with me?

I like Miley, her personal choice in clothing is what she likes. She is a good girl and her dress was not inappropriate at all. The other girl is pretty too but I don't know who she is. I don't think anyone should put down anyone else unless they really look NASTY (like Britney). I don't like Avril Lavigne's style of dress, but I like her, clothes don't make a person, like I said, people like the styles they like and that's that. Oh and I hear Jamie Lynn's baby's father is actually a much older person...who knows though.

Personally I couldnt care less about Miley or Jamie. I dont know these girls, and I am never going to. All I know is what I hear which cannot be proven reliable information anyway.

well i guess ppl all have different opinions on things. I personally like Miley Cyrus and Selena but i guess who ever ask that question didn't. i think miley is a great role model and many young girls look up to her. I think miley dress fine and so does Selena i meen its not like like revealing anything.

Jealousy. It's very rare someone can really sing well and act well. She has more talent in her little finger than Paris Hilton and Britney Spears combined. Plus throw in the fact she has an ultra supportive famous dad--what's not to be jealous about her life?
I know Miley does NOT dress inappropiate for her age and she didnt become famous because of her dad and she does have her head on her shoulders and she is grounded and i loved Miles dress at the Teen Choice Awards!She goes to church with her family whenever she can and she said she is going to stay pure until marriage!
Well I don't personally hate her or like her, but her songs, outfits and music videos sound cheesy. Believe it or not, I found out that she doesn't sing for real. Someone else sang for her because I went to her concert once. She is a bad singer and the only reason she got the Hannah Montana show is because her daddy is famous and he helped her. That's good to help, but she said that she was auditioning by herself. If you don't believe me, go to YouTube and watch the audition videos. It's sad for you but true.
I am 21 years old and am a Hannah Montanna closet watcher!! LOL! i LOVE miley cyrus!! I think that she is a terrific actress and has a unique voice. I also think that she sends a good message to young girls all over the world, i agree that all disney shows and characters are good influences.
they just need to get a life just be yourself and don't care wat they say
