Goodness Latiya, little harsh aren't you ? And I agree with Tobias' defense back to you that you shouldn't pigeon-hole all white people- I don't believe or feel the way you said either. That's a poor defense to assume something that isn't true and then base your argument around that assumption.
Anyway, back to Dog- I love the show and I thought his apology was sincere...it's time to move on and get over it already....was it really a big deal or were some just trying to stir up trouble ? The media has a way of biasing issues just to get a story; even if they aren't true. I wonder who was actually offended here ? I see comments made about "my type" on TV all the time and I don't cry foul...I just turn the channel!

He probably will after all of the backlash dies down. His show was too popular for A&E to cancel.
Sure....why not ? He didn't do anything wrong. If we REALLY want to have civil rights in America, they need to apply to EVERYONE, not a select few. Whether you agree or disagree with what he said, the 1st amendment protects his rights to say it- even if it offends.
So- do we or don't we have freedom of speech ? Or is it only free to some ? Or is it only free if it's what we want to hear ?
Who decides ? Who draws the line ? I thought the Bill of Rights decided....and I'm sorry if a few people got offended by what he said- it wouldn't be my first choice of words either- but I DO support his right to say it....as should every other American.
...and if you don't like what I said, exercise your 1st amendment right to gimme a "thumbs down" ;-)
