ike made that comment years ago, yet when she went solo she had black band members. there is nothing anywhere that says she wants to be white. she is proud of who she is and where she originates from.

What? That is kind of dumb. She is Tina Turner. That who she is. Where do people come up with this stuff. I really don't think she even thinks about it.

i don't think that she's a sellout. its just that soul, blues, and r&b represent so much pain to her. ike was ruling her when she was singing like that. she's more into rock now. and rock's audience is predominately white, is all. i think she's spectacular and still love her music!
I thought Tina Turner retired, but I see she is trying to make a come back. She is of mixed race African Indian I think.

Tina Turner is a survivor and a pretty good rock singer too.
