Can Mariah Carey still sing?!
Question: I was wondering,because I was on Youtube recently listening to her performances from about 12 or 14 years ago,and she sounded great.Then I listened to a performance from this year and last year,and I'm trying to figure out what happened.
I know people get older and stuff,but OMG,she was awful.She was also lip syncing a couple of times.I don't expect somebody who called herself "The Voice" to lip sync.If you're lip syncing,what the hell does that tell us?Can she still sing?

I understand what you are saying about her. The thing is, she sounds GREAT on CD, but honestly, performing live is not exactly her nack, if you know what I mean. She pretty much just stands there and bounces around on stage. Her CD's are wonderful, she just can't really cut it as a "performance" artist.
that's a negative. in my opinion she hasn't been able to really sing in years.

I agree!!!! She sounds good in CD, but when come to live, it just scare me off....
She can sing .....but most of the time off stage she should keep her mouth shut.
