I know people are acting as if she is the only 16 year old to get pregnant. There are girls that are 13 and 14 that get pregnant. This is getting so old now, people are just becoming obsessed with her and her pregnancy. Too many questions on here are about it now.

BTW, the young girl who starred in The Nativity Story last year was actually 16 and pregnant as well, so Jamie Lynn's not even the first 16-year-old celebrity to get pregnant. Oh, and we can't forget Salonge Knowles, Beyonce's younger sister, who I think was 17 when she had her baby.

I guess because she is in the public eye, even if it is mostly in America. It's not like she's trying to hide her shame or herself, she's on the front cover of OK! USA with a huge 'I'm Pregnant' headline. She's making money off what many think is the worst thing she could possibly do, but she seems content in covering newsstands with her 'feel sorry for me' face.
If there a lot more 16 year old getting pregnant, then maybe we should look at our sex ed classes in America. Now that there is someone to bring it out in the media, maybe we should draw attention on where the kids are getting (or lack of) sexual education. Why are so many teenagers getting pregnant??

It's the same reason why Clinton and Monica's relationship and Brittany's parenting blunders, made it so big in the news. THEY ARE CELEBRITIES!!! Clinton wasn't the first man in office to cheat on his wife with another woman, Brittany isn't the only young, divorced, un-fit mother in this world, and Jamie Lynn Spears isn't the only 16-year-old girl that has ever gotten pregnant. People just expect more out of them. What's so sad about the news of her pregnancy is that, there are so many young girls that look up to her and seeing her do it makes them think it's okay. Same as with any other celebrity out there. I'm just proud of her that she is chosing to keep the baby. I really hope that she becomes a great mom to her child and takes this as a lesson learned.
