I find it sad. Not only was she having a stable career at 16 (and a promising one at that), she had the chance to prove that she was better than her sister and she wrecked it, especially since she was shocked to find out that she was pregnant. At least it was with a long time boyfriend (Casey Aldridge) and that she will raise the child back in her home state.

it's her long term (a few years) boyfriend. i'm so sick of everyone criticizing her and calling her an irresponsible whore. it's possible that a condom broke and she got pregnant that way. she's probably extremely scared and here is everyone criticizing her and making it into an embarassing situation.
I think its wrong.
While sad because of her age, it not surprising. The only thing standing between pregnancy in a lot of 16 year olds is lack of opportunity. When you have lots of money and a big career, you can get plenty of opportunity without adult supervision.
Just as with Brittany.......so much for being a role model!
