Her sister is a bad influence on most people. I am concerned at the parenting given by the mother. Now both of her daughters are trainwrecks. What morals did she teach her girls? Doesn't appear to be many. It is 2007, there is enough information and assistance out there to keep from accidentally being pregnant. Why wasn't her sexually active 16 y/o on birth control?

Nope, leave Big sister out of it. Britney didn't tell her little sister to spread her legs and have sex. She should have been smart enough to learn from her sister's mistakes. She should have known that there are consequences for every decisions that you make. So maybe she's not smart enough, but I'm pretty sure she was aware of what was happening to her sister's life and career. That alone should have been a "red flag" for her to gather her senses.
Is Britney a bad role model for her sister? Yes, but was she responsible for getting her sister pregnant? Nope, it wasn't her who had sex, it was Jamie.
They both know right from wrong! They have made choices for themselves and unfortunately it sucks for the both of them.

You can't really say bad influence because we don't really know if she's the one who caused this, but she sure is a bad example. Nonetheless, I believe Jamie still should bear the brunt of everything. People must learn to accept responsibility. Even though socialization plays a big part in shaping us, we still ultimately hold who we are.
