Backstreets back...NOT?!
Question: So I use to be a huge fan of the Backstreet Boys during my teeny bopper days. So I saw a commercial the other day that they had a new album come out, and get this....it only cost 10 bucks!! That was the first I even heard of them doing another album. They had millions of albums sell back in the day. What happened?

music changes - pop music was the thing back then.. boy bands were cool.. now people like alternative or a more acoustic sound- they sold out because when you hear a song over and over and everyone loves it that genre kinda subconsciously grows on you
The bottle rocket they had of a career went wild, but died within a couple seconds. Probably because of the finicky nature of humans.
actually the album isn't that bad... its more grown up, just like hanson they evolved from teeny boppers to more adult songs. it's only 10 bucks buy it and listen or download it. you may be surprised. but also album sales are down b/c they evolved and the teens aren't in to them like we were.
