Her idol, Marilyn Monroe, was EXACTLY the same way and Anna Nicole aspired to BE exactly like her -- and in the end, she was -- but without nearly the amount of talent.
she had about a 5th grade education, i once read, and was easily impressionable. whether or not thats due to her rough upbringings or the fact she was a junkie who knows.

I agree with the second poster Mackerel and Cheese. Anna wasnt mentally retarded but she was very needy. Anna came off a dumb blonde bimbo who acted trashy. She aspired to be like Marilyn Monroe who was her idol. Its kinda strange how those 2 women were both alike Needy and erratic and addicted to pain killers. Both died of a drug overdose
