I love ashlee simpson! why are people so mean to her?!

I think some people were let down by her lip synching antics.
Also I've seen some people comment about her face and how it looks like its been hit by a bus.
I personally think she has ZERO talent.
I think jessica can sing though, her early years anyway. I liked her voice.
I'll just give you reasons why I don't like her/appreciate her as an artist.
1. She's riding the coat tails of her actually talented sister.
2. She's not talented. She can't really sing. The producers she works with change up her voice so it sounds at least half decent.
3. She can't write music worth crap. Most of the stuff is meaningless.
4. She's not very attractive. She's had to have plastic surgery and that causes controversy in general to begin with.
5. She was lip syncing at SNL, messed up throat or not... it's called "cancel/postpone your appearance."
6. I watched her little reality show for a little bit. She's just annoying.
You wanted to know why people are mean to her, so I hope you don't take my answer as an attack on her or you. I personally don't spend my days trying to figure out ways to hate Ashlee Simpson. I don't even really hate her. But maybe I'm the average person you define as "mean" so hopefully you've gained some insight into the average person's mind.

I dont like her personally, but you shouldnt let what other ppl think bother you. Im a big Tom Cruise fan, but nobody likes him anymore. I dont let that bother me.

Honestly... I like Ashlee Simpson. I think she is great. I honestly think she has more talent than her sister. I think that people don't like her cause they think she is only famous because of her sister. A lot of people don't like Jessica Simpson. Especially when she divorced Nick. So... yeah... I think that is why they don't like Ashlee.
However... I am 27 and I think her music rocks.

People hate her because there all sheeps if one says something then they all gotta follow.
I personally think she aint the best singer but her gritty voice and catchy songs are good enough for me.

Why do you love her? I mean, no offense, but her music is pointless, she got booed off stage at that football game, lip-synched and did the hokey-pokey on SNL, got her nose fixed and now she looks like a skinny Drew Barrymore. She just.....isn't talented.
