Cliff Richard and Christmas... a painful combination ?!

Question: Hmmm...I'm not so sure. Whilst I do agree that Cliff Richard has made some absolutely dire Christmas songs, it's good that we only get to see him wheeled out once a year so the pain isn't too much to bear unlike having to endure, say, Girls Aloud and rubbish X Factor contestants 24/7 ad nauseum, ad infinitum...

How old is he now anyway? Must be in his 90s surely...

Yes

i agree only time you see or hear from him he,s made money so should just retire and give us all peace to enjoy Christmas

Love both him and Xmas--so not for me:-)

The other day he announced that he wasn't going to make any more Christmas records. Yay.

Cliff Richard anytime is painfull!!!!! Lol

He has announced that he isn't doing any more songs for xmas. (what a result!!!), But according to my dad ( who is a Cliff Fan), has said that its because of the X Factor that its only the winners that are guaranteed the number 1 place for christmas, not that is has anything to do with, that no-one would buy his christmas carols any way. Cliff should retire now and allow new songs into the charts!!

Positively excruciating.

It's on a par with Frankie Detorri getting piles.

Not compared to Bing Crosby and christmas. Yeah gods was i glad to leave home.

my god and theres no sign of him ageing, he seems to go on and on like a Duracell battery.

I can still see Cliff dancing on a tv show once and that was excruciatingly painful too
