He has potential, but I think that he should stay in college and become a rapper. Just to have something to rely on

That was awesome. He should totally drop out and do stand up or spoken word, but I can't say with certainty whether he'll be successful or not... no, yes i can. life won't be too good.

No, College is a great resource for him set up a network of musical talent, his first fan base, marketing and pr people, Journalism people to spread the word, Graphic artists and website designers, Accountants, etc. Plus it can be a fall back for him to eventually be producer, and know what goes on behind the scenes to put out an album.

He should finish college first, and not put all his eggs in basket, he will benefit from having a degree behind him, just in case he does not make it as a rapper. l went on his site and saw the video, and just be grateful l am not 'Simon' from American ldol. (sorry fella)
You have got to be kidding. No, I don't think he would make it in that industry I am sorry and you need to tell him that! He should not quit college for something that will only give him satisfaction for a few years if that. He needs to think of the future and I don't see rap in it.
