I was on the telephone with a friend who was watching TV while talking. There was a sudden ,"OH MY GOD! John Lennon has been shot". I ran to the TV, turned to the news, sat down, and began to cry (as I am now just thinking of that moment). I was a big Beatles fan, being a musician I have played much of their music, and I once played on an album that George Harrison came in and overdubbed vocal and guitar. By the way, he was one of the nicest people I have ever met. The Beatles changed music and me, and I hope Lennons legacy will help to change the world.

Heard on news!! Beatles were top band of the late 60's, starting "British invasion" of music to U.S......Great times....!
