Nope. She is to fickle and restless. At this point Beyonce seems like she has lost her passion for music and is desperate and just wants to jump into anything that will make her the talk of the town to remain in the spot light. She is way too obsessed with status and winning awards.
A year ago before Dreamgirls came out, she was so sure that her record sales and pretty face would win her the prestigious Oscar award that she was willing to put her music career on hold to concentrate on nothing but acting. That fell through. Then when B-Day didn't break major records and the bank, she re-released it and even recorded in Spanish along with 20,000 videos, it still had mediocre success. Just like her desperate attempt to win an Oscar and re-release of her B-Day album in Spanish, she is going to fall flat on her face.
She needs to realize that she is not super woman and the pressures of being number one is going to cause her to burn out.
I hate both.
She doesn't want to "throw away her R&B roots" she just wants to try something new, which I think is a very stratigic move for her, she's already done virtualy every thing she can do with R&B plus she wants to expand her fan base.
I think Beyonce can do whatever she puts her mind to.She is a wonderful woman and a great singer/actress who will succeed in anything.
