Answers: emotionally, personally....?? any??

just curious...

yeah, in 1998 she talked about the gratitude journal. basically you write about 5 things that you're thankful (to God) for, everyday and it totally transformed me. It wouldn't have worked for me had I not had certain experiences but it was the perfect time since someone finally took the time to listen to me who I consider a mentor and I got into a really good extracurricular program that involved learning non-academic life-enhancing skills. My parents had always dismissed my frustrations as a kid and that was abusing me emotionally. My mom is also the most righteous Catholic in the world and I never wanted to be bad. Because of my school's program and my mentor, I was improving so I had so much to be thankful for and that journal allowed me to have a relationship with God without judgement. And ever since, I have always been happy.

But unfortunately, after Oprah got the Bob Hope award she became too celebrity...I think she's essentially still the same but she has gotten a bit full of herself...hope she realizes it

I think I vomited a couple times...

Yes. It has made me give up television and seek to better myself

taught me to be a better person and enjoy life to the fullest

I don't think I've seen a full hour of her show before. I've never found the show to be very interesting. She's not a doctor so she doesn't help anyone with their problems. She has celebrities on but never really asks any hard hitting questions. The only thing I can think of that makes her show unique is that she gives really great gifts away.

She did a show with Dr. Oz where he told us that a penis can BREAK during sex...she might have saved my dong. TY OPRAH ure the best!!!

Yes it has, i love Oprah, but sometimes I get upset because she gives a new van or house to someone and I am a mother of 4 children all under 4 going through a tough time as well and I barely get a your doing a great job. I dunno I think not only oprah but most of them make too big of a deal out of things like this! There are a lot of people out there they could be helping who REALLY need even more then me... why do they get NOTHING as well?

I loved it when she built all those homes for the Katrina victims and furnished them. I enjoy Dr. Oz's classroom lessons on the body. I enjoy seeing Nate redecorate people's homes.

i watch it when Dr. Oz is on there he has some good info

NO. She is overrated.

yes she affected me she is so near from the heart

don't laugh but i almost cried when i see one of its episodes...it affected me in a way that now i am more aware about myself and my environment
