Why do big time Hollywood celebs find someone new so quickly after breaking up?!

Question: I'm a bit behind in the whole celeb/singer gossip thingy. I saw this on the front page of People Magazine and saw that Jessica Simpson is with someone new.

Scratching my head, I thought she was with John Mayer.

I normally don't care who's with who but what concerns me is these individuals seem to rebound from relationship to relationship so quickly that it boggles my mind. And it seems as if they date other celebrities and not anyone else (there are plenty of well-rounded non-celebs out there that would be just as good). Apparently, dating someone completely non-famous is beneath them

Can someone enlighten me on the "mating habits" of Hollywood? Is this normal or are these people out of touch with reality?

Well, the way I see it is that they aren't so different from anyone else. I know a lot of people that do that and they aren't famous. I think famous people are just trying to find someone to share their life. They want to be happy just like anyone else. They aren't so famous when they are at home. We just hear about them more because they are famous. Obviously, I'm not going to hear about your neighbor, nor, you mine. And as far as they keep dating famous people, well, that's the people they are around. They aren't likely to meet people that aren't famous, now, are they? I don't think so anyway. And if they do find someone that isn't famous, how are they going to know whether or not that person wants to be around them for who they are or because they are famous?

The last I heard she was with Tony Romo for Thanksgiving.

And have you ever heard of Owen Wilson? He tried to kill himself because he broke up with Kate Hudson. That's pathetic.
