i wonder that too when im reading a magazine, i guess it just beats reading because you know the people really exist. Girls love gossip, it makes life interesting. But yes, we should put down the magazine and make our own lives interesting, but gossip is just addicting to girls mostly.
people love to live vicariously through others. i think we, as normal people, would love to have the money, cars, homes, etc of the famous people.
their lives are entertaining to most of us because it's funny to watch these people mess up their lives.
i think most is because of jealousy and a taste for that lifestyle.
I agree 100%. But I have also notice that in some situations, it can help kick-start conversations, like the weather. But I m still not supporting it. Maybe people want to have a try at sarcastic humor. But at all times, the following words come to my mind -
