The Jena 6, aka the 6 thugs who attacked another teen who had nothing to do with the earlier racial incidents, are now looked upon as choir boys. Racism in the US is a business for people like Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton. Whenever Al or Jesse see an opportunity to get publicity or shake down someone for a payoff, they seize it.
On the whole, people get along just fine in the US. It's the media that makes things appear much worse.
They are still hanging around.
As far as I know---nothing, yet. I don't believe there has been a trial date set for this---if there's going to be. And--YES, I must agree that this racial business here in the U.S. IS made much worse (or in some circumstances)-- CREATED by the media!
