Doesnt it seem like ANYONE can be a "star" now days?!
Question: It seems if you have the internet.. a digi cam anyone can be a star..act a fool...show off what you got and thats all it seems to take to get on tv and get your own tv show.
Most stars/actors now days do not have the talent the old stars use too..ex: Mae West, Betty Davis, Judy Garland, Charlie Chaplin ...you know the old time stars..trust me there are some good solid actors out there...but im talking about those like Tila Tequlia/ New Yrk..types...
Anyone else agree/disagree...share your thoughts...all is welcome..

I agree. The worst offender is : Paris Hilton. I know she's rich but that should not be enough for her to so famous. I should have no idea who she is. I hate it that I would recognize her on the street.

It depends on what they do. Tila is not an actress its a reality show, however she is best at what she does, which is being suductive.
and yes the old artist were great, but there are great ones now too that do not get their reccognition.
for instance Nickelback. they may not be your type of music, but no one can deny that a voice like Chad's is perfect for the music he sings.
Dane Cook should stay in comedy, Madonna should stick to singing. not acting.
It all depends on what they do, it's the ones that stray from thier field that suck! and also the idiots with cameras on youtube. but we do have great artists today. Tom Cruise check out a Few Good Men, he is great.
